Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using Plask ("the Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Plask ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms apply to free and paid plans alike.

2. What the Service does

Plask builds a private profit and loss view across the products you run. It:

  • reads revenue from Stripe, RevenueCat, App Store Connect and, in beta, Lemon Squeezy, Polar and Creem with keys you provide, and from Google Play with access you grant;
  • reads traffic and campaigns from Google Analytics 4 with read-only access you grant, and, for products with no other revenue source, the purchase revenue you report to GA4 as a labelled estimate;
  • reads search performance (clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position) from Google Search Console with read-only access you grant, shown only to you;
  • combines them with the ad spend and fixed costs you enter, per product;
  • shows up to three Focus cards a week, markers with a before and after comparison, and alerts;
  • sends a digest by email, and answers questions from AI clients through an MCP server on Pro;
  • lets you publish an opt-in public profile and a place on the board.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old.
  • You are responsible for the security of your Google account and of the keys you create.
  • One person or entity may not keep more than one free account.
  • You must provide accurate information.

4. Connected sources

You may only connect Stripe accounts, RevenueCat projects, App Store Connect teams, Google Play developer accounts, payment provider accounts (Lemon Squeezy, Polar, Creem), Apple Search Ads and Meta ad accounts, GA4 properties and Search Console sites that you are allowed to access, and grant us access in line with their terms. Create the Stripe key as a restricted key with read-only permissions, the App Store Connect key as a Team key with the Sales role, and the Google Play service account with only “View app information and download bulk reports (read-only)” and “View financial data, orders, and cancellation survey responses”. Plask can't check a key's role, so don't use a key with more access. Play's report permissions also let the account view app information and orders; Plask only reads sales reports and never writes to any source. Lemon Squeezy and Creem keys can't be limited to reading; Plask still only reads with them. Payment providers are in beta and are not published on the board. You can disconnect a source or revoke its key at any time, and that stops further reads. Your connected providers' own terms continue to apply to your use of them.

If you let an AI agent sync data from other platforms into Plask, it does so with your own access, and you are responsible for complying with those platforms' terms. You are also responsible for the keys and credentials you give your AI agent. Plask stores what the agent passes, encrypted, and uses it only to read the data you asked for.

Create the Apple Search Ads API user with a read-only role, and the Meta token with only the ads_read permission; Plask refuses credentials that can do more, and a Meta token it can't check. The Meta app you create for this is yours, under your own Meta developer account and Meta's terms; Plask only uses the token you give it, to read your ad spend. Ad spend from these sources is never published.

4.1 Service provider terms for connected stores

App Store Connect. When you connect App Store Connect, you appoint Plask as your service provider under section 2.9 of your Apple Developer Program License Agreement. Plask uses your API key and the data it returns solely on your behalf and only to provide the Service to you. It does not use them for any other purpose and does not disclose them to anyone except as you direct, for example by publishing a figure on the board. It does not combine data from Apple's analytics services with other developers' data. It complies with the terms of that agreement as they apply to your use of Apple's services. You can revoke the key in App Store Connect at any time.

Google Play. The service account and its key are yours, in your own Google Cloud project. Plask uses the key solely on your behalf to read your Play report files and provide the Service to you, and does not disclose the data except as you direct. You can delete the key or remove the service account at any time.

5. Plans and billing

5.1 Free

Free covers 1 product: its P&L, a public profile and board listing if you opt in, a monthly digest and 30 days of markers. No payment details are needed.

5.2 Pro

Pro costs $5 per month or $48 per year and covers unlimited products, the portfolio view, weekly Focus cards, full marker history, alerts and the MCP server.

5.3 Founding Pro

The first 50 people to take the Founding offer get Pro for $36 per year. That price stays the same for as long as the subscription remains active without interruption. If it is cancelled and lapses, the Founding price ends. Switching to another plan also ends the Founding price, and it can't be switched back.

5.4 Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe and renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes, which may be added at checkout depending on where you are.

5.5 Price changes

We may change prices. For an existing subscription we will give at least 30 days' notice before a new price applies, and you may cancel before it does. Founding prices are not changed while the subscription stays active.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to Free. We do not refund partial periods. If you have more than one product when you move to Free, you choose the one that stays active; the others are paused and keep their history. No data is deleted.

7. Public profiles and the board

Joining the board is optional, and you choose which products to list. The numbers of a listed product are published exactly, whether it is listed under your name or anonymously, and any links you add are public. Maker totals include only the products you list under your name. Paused products don't count toward them. Anonymous listing hides names and links, not numbers. If you publish the same figures elsewhere, someone may match them. The board publishes 7-day, 30-day and all-time totals that update daily, so day-to-day changes are visible. Links are shown as nofollow and you can remove them at any time. You are responsible for what you choose to publish, including links. We may remove a profile or board entry that is misleading, that we believe is based on manipulated data, or that breaks these Terms. Board positions are calculated automatically and are not an endorsement.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service to break any law;
  • try to access other accounts or systems without permission;
  • upload malware or interfere with the Service;
  • reverse engineer the Service or resell it without written permission;
  • access the Service by automated means other than the API and MCP server we provide;
  • publish false figures or manipulate board rankings.

Breaking these rules may lead to suspension or termination of your account.

9. Your data and our service

Your data stays yours. You give us a limited licence to process it only to provide the Service. The Service itself, its design and its code belong to Plask; you get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while your account exists. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Accuracy and availability

Figures come from your connected sources and your own entries, converted to US dollars using published exchange rates. App store reports arrive later than other sources, Google Play figures for the current month are estimated until Google's monthly earnings report arrives, and figures based on GA4 are estimates, as your tags report them, before store or payment fees, and without refunds your app doesn't report to GA4. We do not guarantee that they are complete, current or correct. Focus cards, verdicts, alerts and AI explanations are aids, not financial, tax or business advice. We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLASK IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR US$100.

12. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms. When an account ends, data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law, do so.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, email you before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Plask operates, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes are resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law where you live says otherwise.
